Last night was our annual West Portal Rock Show! It was a wild, wonderful, loud and powerful night. I am even more proud of the leadership, organization and initiative that the second-fifth graders took during the set-up, transitions and clean-up on the stage, than I am of the performances; and the performances were absolutely fabulous!! Our guest conductor was a stunningly talented kindergartener who wowed the crowd with his skilled conducting. He looked fabulous in his tuxedo T-shirt, and engraved bright red baton. We had a special violinist accompany us on Jikeleza, and we achieved our largest sing-along in West Portal history, with our grand finale of Flashlight!! It was a wild night to remember, and I already can't wait until next year's show!!
